The Worcester district attorney says a skull found earlier this month was that of a Norwood woman reported missing more than three years ago. Mass. prison inmate found hanged in cell
A former Chicopee man convicted of second-degree murder for killing a real estate agent in 1976 has been found hanged in prison cell. A spokeswomen for the state prisons tells The Boston Globe that 62-year-old Steven Carey was found in his cell at the maximum security Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley just before 6 a.m. on Saturday. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead shortly after 7 a.m. The Worcester district attorney's office was notified.

Two Oxford men have been indicted on charges that they stole more than $200,000 worth of lobsters from a highway accident scene. The Worcester district attorney says Arnold Villatico Jr. and Robert Moscoffian have been indicted on charges of a marine fisheries permit violation, conspiracy, larceny by false pretenses and larceny over $250. Their Superior Court arraignments have not been scheduled.

Prosecutors will not file charges against a teenager who was driving a car that struck and killed a 15-year-old girl in Marblehead.
